Cleantie offers a very powerful and sophisticated tool to customize your printed Invoices & Tags format.
Select Admin from the top navigation menu. Select Custom Forms from the left-hand side menu. Select the paper size from the right-hand side if you like to use a wide invoice format. By default, the paper size is set to 3.5" for thermal printers.
Cleantie supports both 1" (dry clean) and 1/2" (laundry) tags. To make changes, select the tag you'd like to change.
Select the invoice copy you would like to edit. The customer's copy could be in a different format than the store's copy. The Quick Invoice format is used to print a quick invoice with no details. You may use a different template for each price list schedule. Select the schedule from the top of the list to create a different template.
TIP: It is a good idea to print total items before invoice # on invoices and tags to help your assembly staff. For example, 02-00347 means invoice #00347 with a total of 2 items.
Add your company logo to your invoice
To get started, add your own company logo to the printed invoice by clicking on the Cleantie Logo. Choose your image using the browse option, then press Upload. You can upload any image (typically your logo) that you want to show on your invoices.
Make sure the image you use meets these basic requirements:
- JPG format
- black and white (you can use color, but the print quality might be lower)
- 200 pixels wide and 100 pixels high.
- If you need to crop your logo image, try a free online tool such as croppola or CUTMYPiC.
- Press Save to save changes.
Include barcode on your Invoices
By default, the invoice template has the invoice # barcode on it. You can scan an invoice barcode with a barcode scanner or your iPad's camera to find the invoice in Cleantie. To make changes, click on the barcode and change the properties.
Add customized text
Select the Text icon from the top of the template and drop it wherever you like. Click on the text to add your text message.
Add , Delete & Update Heading
The heading properties are used to control the font size, spacing, margins etc. Use Prefix or Suffix options to add your own text. Use the padding options to control spacing. Use Inverse option to highlight the heading text. Alignment is used to align the text.
Step 1. Drag the heading from the list that you like to add, and drop it anywhere in the template.
Step 2. If you wish to remove the heading, select the heading from the template and drag it to the right. A delete icon shows up that allows you to delete the heading.
Step 3. To make changes and Edit the heading, click on the heading. The heading property screen pos up. make changes as you like, then save it.
Step 4. Press Save to save the changes.
Step 5. Press Print to see the sample.
TIP : The total width of each line is 100. To add multiple headings in one line, make sure the total width of all the headings is less than 100. (for example, a width of 40%, 40%, 20% would fit 3 headings in one line)
Restore Template
Press Restore to restore the template to the original settings.
