Coupons & Discounts

Coupons have already become sophisticated marketing tools, which not only drive sales but also help in building brand image and customer loyalty. By using a modern infrastructure, coupon campaigns are also a source of tracking data used to build and continuously improve marketing efforts in general.

When processing a sale, sometimes you may want to apply a discount. The discount can be applied to an entire order or just to a particular product. Pre-defined coupons are the proper way of offering a discount since they are trackable.

Coupons

Use the following process to setup your own coupons:

Select Admin from the top navigation menu. Select Marketing -> Coupons from the left menu,

Select "New Coupon" to add a new coupon, or click on the coupon you'd like to update. A coupon can be setup as a value discount or percentage discount.

To setup Max allowed discount for the items, Please refer to Price List Setup,  service category section.

Customer Profile Discount

Create the right discounts for the right customers at the right times. Utilize Cleantie’s robust discount options to reward your loyal customers and create new business.

To set up a customer with pre-defined discounts, go to the customer profile, click on the Discount menu. Enter the percentage discount that you would like to apply to the service during the check-in process. You may apply a different discount percentage for each service. Use the Expiry date field to set the discount's expiry date.

Customer Loyalty Coupon

Customer loyalty is important to any business’ bottom line, but you probably don’t know just how valuable it is. On average, forty percent of a business’s revenue comes from just eight percent of its customer base (i.e., repeat customers). But businesses are spending as much as eighty percent of their budget on new-customer acquisition. Obviously, you need a new customer to create a repeat customer, but the message here is spending time cultivating a loyal customer is a better use of your time than trying to get new customers in the door. 

Customer Loyalty Coupon is not available yet, as it is still under development.

Check-in Process

During the check-in process, select Discount from the icon tray to apply a discount to the entire invoice. Enter the discount percentage or value and press OK.

To apply a discount or coupon to an item, select the item, then click on Coupon option and select your own predefined coupon. Use discount to apply your own percentage discount or value discount to the item. For additional information refer to Check-in Function.
