Cleantie Price List Structure
Cleantie price list consists of the following categories: Schedules -> Services -> Departments -> Items. The item defines the work and price. For example Jacket – Regular $8.8
Cleantie database is built with a pre-configured price list template during the initial account setup process. For example, Dry Cleaning price list template is completely different from the Laundromat or Alteration price list.
To make changes to the price list, select Admin from the top Navigation menu. Select the Price list option from the left-hand side.
You may make changes, create a new price list or import a new price list from Cleantie customized CSV templates. Cleantie price list import function is a very powerful tool that simplifies the process.
Cleantie offers multiple pricing features. Multiple pricing refers to the practice of offering more than one price for the same service.
You may charge different prices based on the type of customer, delivery service offerings, payment terms, Hotel, or Wholesale pricing.
To make a new price list using the existing price list, select Schedule, Select New Schedule, Enter Schedule’s name (For example VIP Price List), and Select Copy Schedule From.
To setup a customer with a specific price list, go to the customer profile, Click on the Price Schedule option. Select the price list from the drop-down menu.
The customer's default price list is shown at the top of the check-in screen. Please note, the default price list can be changed on demand during the Check-in process.
The service category is used to group the departments. Use the service tab if you like to change the icon, days required, max allowed discount or priority order.
Department category is used to group the items, for example, Dry Clean Pants. Use the Department tab if you'd like to change the icon or the priority order.
Item category is used to describe the work and price. Use the Item tab if you'd like to change the item description or group it under a different department.
Item Details, such as Colors, Brands, Stains, and Damages are used to describe the item in detail for tracking purposes. To add a new group, select Add Group. Enter Group Name (for example Size). Select Add Description to add the option, like Small, or Large.
Item options are used to add options to the items, such as Starch, and Shirt Folding.
Release forms are used to terminate any legal liability when cleaning certain items like household items.
Memos are used to make notes on items or customer profiles.
Price lists are essential for services because each item entered on an invoice must have a price. Each price list contains a basic list of information and one or more optional pricing lines, called upcharge. When using upcharge, you can set up price adjustments. Upcharges can adjust the net price either up or down and could be a fixed price or a percentage of the base price. Select New Upcharge Icon to create a new upcharge. Select Service, Department, or Items if an upcharge is applied to that particular category.
Use Item Tree to build your own Schedule, Services, Departments, and Items. Item Tree is a very powerful tool that is used to make changes to the sub-categories in the tree structure. All children in the tree structure are modified when change is applied to the parent. For example to increase prices on VIP Price List by 20%, select VIP Schedule, Select Edit. Enter 20 percent in Change prices, press Apply to All Selected Items.
You may use the same process for the children under Services, and Departments. To Add new departments and items, Select the price list schedule, Select the service you wish to add, then Go to the bottom of the department tree.
Select plus (+) sign to add a new department. For example select Laundry service, select +, and add Activewear. Select a proper icon from Cleantie icon library. Now new Activewear department is added under Laundry.
Select the new department, Select Item, and select + sign to add the new item. For example, Select Activewear, then add Swimsuits, Leggings, Yoga pants with the proper price. Activewear Department with new items is now added under VIP Price list -> Laundry Service.
Select an item under the Item Tree to control the following option: Price, Applicable Taxes, Tag printing, Upcharge feature, Discount & Unit Options, Scale Interface, Total Hours, Total # of Pieces, prompt for the price, Detail Screen, and Wash & Fold option.
Use the schedule to control the total invoices to be printed during the check-in and checkout process and enable or disable tag printing. Select the schedule, and go to the Print Status section. Change # Of Prints option. Remove the check mark on the Print Tag button to disable tag printing.
In addition, the schedule is used to control the following options: VAT inclusive option, force pre-pay, control partial pay, force invoice to checkout, and pre-pay discount.
