What is Shipday?
Cleantie has a partnership with Shipday to enable you to use an on-demand logistics platform and a fleet of drivers to offer your customers laundry pickup and delivery quickly and easily, without the hassle of staffing your own delivery fleet.
How do I signup for Shipday Account?

How do I link my Shipday Account to Cleantie?
- Log on to your Shipday account. Go to my account from the top right corner. Select Integrations
- Select the API key, and copy the key.
- Log on to your Cleantie POS account.
- Goto Admin -> Delivery -> Shipday Settings. If you don't see the Shipday settings option, contact Cleantie to enable this feature.
- Enter your API key from step 2.

Is the Delivery fee passed onto the consumer?
How does Shipday Charge?
Shipday does not charge your customer for delivery fees. Shipday allows you to easily send orders to DoorDash and Uber for delivery service. This is a paid delivery service by these providers. You can see the quote before you send orders to them. You get charged by Shipday through your card on file. You must have a card on file to use the 3rd party drivers and sign up for the Professional plan.
DoorDash delivery fee is $6.99 for the first 3 miles, and then $1 a mile up to 7 miles.
Uber delivery fee is $6.99 up to 5 miles outside CA, and $8.49 in CA.
How to communicate with the customer?
Cleantie Dispatcher app offers complete control over your pickup delivery process and provides a communications tool to the dispatcher and store manager. Use the dispatcher app to view all customer's activities, profiles, pickup request orders, and bills and coordinate. The Cleantie Dispatcher app has an integrated communication tool that allows dispatchers to chat, make a call or send a direct message to the customer with a single tap. Never miss a prospect by engaging with the user directly through the dispatcher chat function and answering any questions they may have.

Do you offer Web App instead of Mobile App?
Cleantie recommends Mobile app vs Web App for the following reasons:

- Web App is not restricted to certian zipcodes as it connects the customer to your store automatically.
However if you like to allow your customers to get the best, the most convenient, high-quality pickup and delivery experience by using your own website subdomain get the Web app. The process takes 4 to 5 weeks, including development, testing, deployment, and hosting on Google Firebase. The app will be deployed on your your own website subdomain e.g app.ashfordcleaners.com, the cost is $2450
For WebApp, add these A records to your domain by visiting your DNS provider or registrar. Your site will show a security certificate warning for a few hours until the certificate has been provisioned. Remember to remove your old A records and any AAAA records from your DNS provider.

How to advise the customer of the pickup and delivery time?
Use the Cleantie Dispatcher app to chat or call the customer to advise the estimated pickup or delivery time. The estimated pickup and delivery time through DoorDash or Uber is less than 30 minutes. Through the pickup request, you may add delivery instructions for the driver. Keep customers updated With Shipday live delivery-tracking link that is sent automatically.
How do I add delivery Free to the Invoice?
- Go to Cleantie POS.
- Select Admin -> Delivery -> General -> Settings
- Add Delivery Fee.
- During check-in, the delivery fee is added automatically to the invoice.
- If you like to remove the delivery fee on any invoice, delete the Delivery Charge from the top of the invoice.
How Do I add minimum order value?
- Go to Cleantie POS.
- Select Admin -> Delivery -> General -> Settings
- Add Minimum Order.
How do I identify the laundry bag upon pickup?
On the initial pickup, it is recommended to ask customers to write their name, and phone number on a piece of paper to identify their order. Upon delivery, we recommend handing out a free laundry bag, with the customer's name and barcode to identify the customer.
Cleantie Utility is used to print Laundry Bag labels to identify customers' laundry bags on the Dymo Label printer with 30251 Self-Adhesive Labels 1-1/8" X 3-1/2".
In addition, you may attach custom-made Laundry bag tags to the laundry bag for faster and more accurate customer lookup. To assign a bag tag, go to the customer's profile, select the customer key tag option, and scan the barcode to link it to the customer. During the check-in process, simply scan the bag tag.
