The "Ready" function is used to assign conveyor or rack locations to the orders and notify the customer by text message when the order is ready for pickup or delivery.
Customer Profile Setup:
Edit the customer profile and enable SMS Ready Order. Please note: SMS is subject to Cleantie's standard text message rates.
To start the process, select the "Ready" option from the main menu.
Step 1: Simply scan the invoice barcode, then scan your conveyor barcode. Or type the number manually if you are not equipped with a barcode scanner.
Previous orders and locations are shown at the bottom of the screen if the customer has other orders in stock.
Assigning closer locations would help to speed up the order retrieval and checkout process. As invoices are scanned, the assigned location is shown on the right-hand side.
Step 2: Click on the location list to see the details of each invoice. Continue the above step for all other invoices.
Step 3: Press the print icon to print the list and retain it for audit purposes.
Step 4: To complete the process, press the OK button.
If the customer's SMS Ready Order option is enabled, the following sample text message is sent.Please note that the text message can't be customized at the moment.
"Dear John, please be advised your items at My Cleaners are ready. Thank you for your business.''
