QZ Tray is a cross-browser, cross-platform plugin for printing (and talking to serial/USB devices).
QZ specializes in browser-to-hardware communication with a strong background in Server and Desktop Operating Systems especially as they pertain to printers, industry automation, and raw device communication. Cleantie now supports the QZ Tray drivers on iMac and Windows.

Follow the steps below to Install QZ Tray and configure Cleantie POS to connect to your peripherals.
- Download QZ Tray from https://qz.io/download/
- Download and install your printer driver. If your printer came with a disc, that disc might contain software that installs a driver for the printer. You can search for a driver on the manufacturer's website. For Epson printers, logon to Epson's website.
- Logon to Cleantie POS, select the printer Icon, and Select QZ Tray Tab
- Select "Show only relevant printers".
- If no printer is listed, refresh the browser or remove the above option.
- Select QZ Tray Printer Driver as the default printer driver.
- Assign the Station id to your station. The default is 1.
- Make sure each station id is unique if you have multiple stations.
- Select the Invoice Printer tab, and assign your printer as Default.
- Select the Tag Printer tab (if you have any) and assign your tag printer as Default.
- Select the cash drawer Printer tab, and set your cash drawer.
- To test your cash Drawer, select Open Drawer
- Select the Scale tab, and assign your scale. If your scale type is not listed use the following process to find out your scale's Vendor ID (VID) and Product ID (PID). Go to Windows Control Panel->Devices and Printers->locate your scale->right click->Properties->Select HID Complication Interface->Select Events->Make note of the Vendor-Id and PID. Enter your vendor-id and PID here.
- To test your scale, select Read Scale.
- To print Laundy Bag Labels, you must install the Dymo Printer driver. Cleantie will auto-select the Dymo printer when printing Laundry Bag labels. Click here to download the Dymo Printer driver.
- To print Laundry Bag labels, go to Utility, select the print icon, and select Laundry Bag.
