Cleantie has a partnership with DoorDash, the largest delivery platform across the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. DoorDash Drive enables you to use DoorDash's on-demand logistics platform and fleet of Dashers to offer your customers laundry pickup and delivery quickly and easily, without the hassle of staffing your own delivery fleet. Whether you need flexible fulfillment for overflow or a consistent on-demand delivery service, the DoorDash platform is designed to work with your laundry business. DoorDash charges you for each delivery.
The delivery fee is a flat $9.75 on a per-delivery basis for deliveries within a five (5) mile radius. DoorDash will charge you an additional fee of $0.75 per incremental mile up to the maximum delivery radius set by DoorDash.

For any issue after the order is picked up, or with the order delivery, you can contact the service provider directly. DoorDash: Call 1 (855) 599-7066. Be sure to state that it’s a DoorDash Drive Delivery, and provide the Store Name, Customer Name, Customer Phone Number, and Delivery ID.

Configure Cleantie
Follow the steps below to enable the DoorDash feature:
- Go to Admin -> Select Delivery -> General -> Settings.
- Select Enable A Third Party Delivery Provider -> DoorDash.
- Please note this feature must be enabled by Cleantie Administrator.
- Usage is subject to DoorDash standard delivery fees.
1. Dispatch DoorDash Driver To Pickup the order
Follow the steps below to Dispatch DoorDash Driver to Pickup the order:
- Upon the Customer's Pickup request through Cleantie customer App, a notification Text and email are forwarded to you.
- In addition, the Truck Icon in the Icon tray will be flashing within Cleantie POS
- Select the truck icon to view the pickup request.
- If the Auto Approve option is enabled, the pickup request status is automatically changed to Approved. To change this option go to Delivery -> General -> Settings. Enable Auto Approve.
- The Pickup request must be Approved in order to proceed to the next step.
- Click on the truck icon on the pickup list to view the pickup request details.
- You may select "See Map" option to see the distance to the customer.
- Select ‘Dispatch Driver’ and click ‘Apply’ to dispatch DoorDash Driver.
- Add any special instructions for the driver.
- As soon as DoorDash has received the request, the status is updated to show the process.
- Once a Driver is Confirmed, the Request will change to ‘Scheduled’ and the driver will be on the way to pick up the order; an ID for the task is created upon confirmation.
- Status updates from DoorDash will appear as they arrive. A complete breakdown of the entire delivery will be available once the task is complete.
- Click on Review history to see the log and the cost of delivery.
2. Check In the order
Follow the steps below to process the order:
- Select Checkin, to make the invoice for the customer.
- Cleantie links the pickup request id to the order for tracking purposes. The request-id is displayed on the check-in screen.
- Press Pre-pay option from the icon tray at the bottom.
- Press Done and auto-select the delivery date.
- In Tender Screen, the credit card option is auto-selected, Press Next to Charge the customer's card on file.
My Account on the Customer App
As soon as the order is made, the customer will be able to view the order details in the customer app under profile -> My Account.
3. Order Delivery Notification Process
- During the Pickup request from Cleantie Customer App, the customer is given an estimated delivery date/time. It is very important to confirm the delivery date/time with the customer to avoid any delivery issues.
- For DoorDash drive it is necessary for the customer to be present for pickup or delivery if there is no concierge service.
- You can use Cleantie Dispatcher app to chat with the customer to confirm the delivery date/time. For additional information on Cleantie Dispatcher App, click here.
- As soon as the order is processed and ready for delivery, select the Ready function from the main menu.
- Scan order, and press process.
- A text message is forwarded to the customer to advise the delivery date. If you don't wish to send text messages, disable this option in the customer profile.
4. Dispatch DoorDash Driver to Deliver the order
- Select Delivery -> Pending Orders.
- The pending orders are listed, click on the invoice to see the details.
- Make sure there is no outstanding balance.
- Select the order you wish to dispatch the driver and select the truck icon.
- You may change the default pick-up/drop-off instructions for the driver.
- You may select "See Map" option to see the distance to the customer.
- Select ‘Dispatch Driver’ and click ‘Apply’ to dispatch DoorDash Driver.
- As soon as DoorDash has received the request, the status is updated to show the process.
- Once a Driver is Confirmed, the Request will change to ‘Scheduled’ and the driver will be on the way to pick up the order from your location; an ID for the task is created upon confirmation.
- Status updates from DoorDash will appear as they arrive. A complete breakdown of the entire delivery and the cost of delivery will be available once the task is complete.
- Once the order is delivered, the invoice status is changed to Out.

5. Test your DoorDash Process

- Please note any DoorDash Dispatch request on dev2 is not live and is ignored by DoorDash.
