How does DoorDash Charge?
DoorDash Does not charge your customer for the delivery fees since you are using DoorDash Drive through Cleantie. You will receive an invoice at the end of the month with details regarding your DoorDash deliveries from Cleantie. The DoorDash invoice is charged to your Card On File by Cleantie.
Is the Delivery fee passed onto the consumer?
It is up to you to charge your customer any delivery fees. The truth is that today’s customers don’t appreciate delivery fees added to their orders. In the Amazon era, customers are spoiled for choice by businesses offering free shipping and faster deliveries.
We recommend offering Free Delivery, but add the delivery cost to your laundry price with a minimum order.
How do I add delivery Free to the Invoice?
If you wish to charge a delivery fee, follow the steps below to add the delivery fee automatically.
- Go to Cleantie POS.
- Select Admin -> Delivery -> General -> Settings
- Add Delivery Fee.
- During check-in, the delivery fee is added automatically to the invoice.
- If you like to remove the delivery fee on any invoice, delete Delivery Charge from the top of the invoice.
How Do I add minimum order value?
Minimum order is not forced by Cleantie, however, it is up to you to charge an extra fee or Delivery Free for the orders that are less than the minimum order. The minimum order value is shown on the customer App.
To add minimum order value, follow the steps below:
- Go to Cleantie POS.
- Select Admin -> Delivery -> General -> Settings
- Add Minimum Order.
What is Exclusive Territory offered through Cleantie Customer App?
Cleantie Customer app is based on the Exclusive Territory that is assigned to your operation by Cleantie team. The limited Exclusive Territory is assigned on a first come first served basis for up to two(2) Zip Codes. Click here to see if the desired zip code is available. Select "Search Delivery Area", the error message indicates the zip code is available. Your customer can request a pickup through the Cleantie customer app as long as they are located within the delivery area.
What is the advantage of Exclusive Territory?
Start your laundry Pickup & delivery business overnight by using our Limited exclusive territory option. You get a free Cleantie customer app that works like your own brand app. We only assign one laundromat or dry cleaner within any given zip code. The customer gets assigned to your store automatically as long as they are within the delivery area.
What is Cleantie+ Customer App?
If you don't wish to be limited to our Exclusive Territory, you may use Cleantie+ or your own Brand App. Cleantie+ app is downloaded by your customer and is not limited to any zip codes, however, customers must sign up by searching your business name in the customer app.
